Tutu Pele continues to share her mana with all of us with a simultaneous display of fire and smoke at her home in Halemaumau as well as the vent near Pu’u O’o. At the shoreline, the plume rises as a result of the lava entering the ocean.

These displays remind us of the importance of our ancestors who dwell within the fountains of fire, in the lava stones and in the ocean. E ola mau ka honua!
